Deepest Sympathy

I love combining red with aqua or turquoise so this water color card was fun to make. I used poppies from Impression Obsession stamped with gold embossing powder and die cut using a decorative rectangle die from some obscure company from China. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and I used a Uniball Gold pen to draw a line around the outer edge of this 4 bar card. I am entering this card on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Beautiful Blooms."

Thinking of You

I just can't get enough of flower stamps, and here is another card with an Altenew flower set - Anemone. The border stamp is from Deep Red Stamps which sort of looks like a lace edge. The patterned paper is Tranquil Textures from MFT and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up "Sheltering Tree." This card project is for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Beautiful Blooms.

You're A Star

I have a quick new post using several different products to create a cute child's birthday card. First I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder to get some dimension with aqua paper to match a panel I made with the Concord & 9th "Triangle Turnabout." The star and jellyfish are an older Lawn Fawn set. The envelope is stenciled with a Mint Owl Studio product. This is for the Simon Says Stamp Wed Challenge "Animal Antics."

Blooming Good Birthday

This multimedia card features lots of flowers so it's perfect for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. I started with Distress Inks and Sprays for the background, used SSS Simple Poinsettia cutout die for the smaller flowers and SSS Stitched Daisies for the larger flower. Sentiment is from Gina K Design and the YOU is from SSS. Final touches used Trinity gold satin baubles and Pretty Pink Post gold stars.

With Sympathy Canterbury Bells

This sympathy card was created with Altenew's Canterbury Bells. The background is Just Rite's script stamp and the sentiment is from Mint Owl studio with white embossing. Entering this in Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Beautiful Blooms."

Happy Birthday Blooms

This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Beautiful Blooms. The card project below started with white embossing SSS Floral Mix background which I water colored. The sentiment is a die from Lawn Fawn and I added a piece of lace behind it. The envelope has flowers from Hero Arts.

Little Red Barn

A watercolor project featuring AI Stamps - 4051, 4868, 5007, 5372, 5371, ex2020. I love creating these little scenes. This is for the Simon Say Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Get Well

So I recently purchases some new stamps from Pinkfresh Studio. I thought this one was very pretty, called "Lush Greenery," and used it on a card today. I colored the image with copic markers. The sentiment is from Dare2BArtzy. I am entering this in the My Favorite Things Color Challenge 167. Check out the colors below.

Hugs & Kisses

When I saw the Pinkfresh Studio butterfly set, I put it on my "to buy" list without hesitation! With a multi-step stencil to color the butterflies, it was perfect. Here is my first card with the set. I used Gina K's background stamp called "Petite Flourish" for the background. I found the sentiment in my stash and actually can't recall which company makes it! Placing this on the Pinkfresh Studio June Challenge "dies" and Gina K Challenge "backgrounds."

They Dance in the Moonlight

How lucky am I that my very first order arrived from Lavinia Stamps the other day AND the Simon Says Stamp Wed Challenge is featuring Lavinia Stamps! So here is my multi-media card using two stamps from Lavinia on top of a Distress sprayed panel in blues and greens. I also added leaves from a stencil and die cut leaves for dimension as well as some smaller images from Art by Marlene. I am also placing this on the SSS Monday Challenge.

A Splash of Color

Here is the third page in my 5x5 art journal where I am exploring mixed media. This is for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. This page uses some bee transfers from Dress My Craft, Tim Holtz honeycomb stencil with texture paste, small stamps from Art from Marlene, and another sentiment from Gerry of Gerry's Craft Room.

Wonderful Time of Year

Another Holiday Card ready for December! This one uses a tree from Penny Black "Tannenbaum Trio" and a few smaller trees which I stamped with an Art Impression stamp. The sticks in the foreground are from Penny Black "Nature's Friends." The sentiment is from PB as well. This is for the following two challenges - PB "Fussy and Fancy" Sat challenge and SSS Wed "Create a Scene."

Merry and Bright Mini Slimline

I have been getting jump on Holiday cards, and this one fits the current Penny Black Challenge - Fussy and Fancy. It's a water colored card using the "Season's Marvel" tree, "Nature's Friends" for the bunnies, and "Cozy Cottage" branches. Since I had to plan this out and use some masks, I call this "fussy!" I also made the envelope using a new Pink Fresh Studio die for mini slim line cards. I am also placing this on the Simon Says Stamp Wed Challenge "Create a Scene."

One more challenge for this month - the Pink Fresh Studio June challenge is to use Dies. Since I just bought the new mini slim line envelope die and made a matching envelope for this card, I will link this post up to their challenge. See the entries here.

Bloom Where You are Planted

This is the next page in my 5x5 Art Journal. I started small because this is pretty much new to me. The base of my creations is Distress sprays, regular and oxides. I did not have any sprays before, so I invested in my favorite colors, including the new ones of course. This square features the Bohemian Garden flowers, two stencils, a stamp from Tim Holtz. The sentiment is from Gerry's Craft Room free printable.  Entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Mixed Media."

Special Journey

This week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is mixed media! How lucky for me since I recently started playing with various techniques and materials to create Art Journal pages (just for me and just for fun!) Below is the first page of my 5x5 journal. This one features and owl from Dress My Craft transfer sheets, a stenciled tree from Trinity Stamps, Texture paste for the orange dots and some stamping from a Tim Holtz number stamp. The sentiment is from a free printable from Gerry's Craft Room which I have started to follow recently. Gerry has great ideas.
