Super Hero in Scrubs

One more post for the My Favorite Things SKetch Challenge #490. MFT had offered these "nurse" images to download a few weeks back and I finally got around to coloring some. My plan is to send cards to my local nursing homes saying Thank You to the hard working staff there. This is one of the finished cards.

Birthday cards for little boys and girls just have to have sparkle and the child's name, don't you think! This card was for my friend's grandson who turned 4 a few weeks ago and luckily My Favorite Things is featuring just this type of card for their Birthday Challenge this month. I recently purchased their large letter die set and put it to good use!

Thinking of You

This card was made with someone in mind who is going through a hard time and she just happens to like lighthouses, so naturally I incorporated one in the design. I am entering this card in this week's My Favorite ThingsWednesday Sketch Challenge #490. You will see the sketch below.

Paw Prints

My friend likes to send cards to her friends who lose their pets so she comes to me when she needs a card. I recently made both of these cards for her using two stamps from My Favorite Things. Since the SSS Wednesday Challenge is Animal Fun, I am posting them there. Stay safe.

   

Thinking of You

Finally getting around to posting some cards I have made lately. This one turned out very pretty and I stamped a Mother's Day greeting inside. I used two large stamps for the background panel from Impression Obsession and the flowers are My Favorite Things Flashy Florals. Entering this in the MFTWednesday Sketch Challenge. You can see the sketch below.

Mother's Day Cards

I made quite a few Mother's Day cards this year. Here are three which fit the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Use Dies/Punches. This is from one of my favorite sets from SSS. I hope all of my crafty friends have a nice Mother's Day this year. I drove up to my son's house and spent a few hours OUTSIDE with the grand kids. It was torture not to be able to hug them, but I was happy to watch them playing in the yard and thereby following the rules of social distancing!

It's been a while since I posted anything on my blog. The days fly by and I am busy... just not busy on the blog! I did use the My Favorite Things sketch challenge for some inspiration for a card which I was making for a friend.  I recently purchased a new stamp/die set from Honey Bee Stamps with this adorable bunny and the sentiments which are appropriate for our lives right now under the cloud of Corona Virus. So here it is ... and here is the sketch for the MFT Sketch Challenge #488. I am also going to enter it in the Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge Using Dies / Punches.
