Welcome to my blog. Ten years ago I discovered that making cards was super fun. I keep learning as I watched many expert crafters and artists on the internet. Thanks for stopping by.

Little Frankenstein
MMMchallenge
Entering this card in Make My Monday Challenge using letter/sound "F"
I love this little guy! This card used a combination of several stamp sets and die cuts: Clearly Besotted, Sixxix, Darcie's Heart and Home, My Sentiments Exactly. I used Distress Inks for the background, alcohol markers for Frankenstein, and some water color pencils for the path.

Two cards for the SSS Monday Challenge
These stamps/dies are from My Favorite Things, entered into the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Stamp & Punch/Die Cuts
Good Luck
Good Luck - for the new school year card was entered in the Lawnscape Challenge "TEXTURE"
I made this card yesterday, my birthday! I guess I was subliminally thinking about my old school days! The "Brick Wall Cover Up" die from My Favorite Things came in the mail and I just had to try it out. Of course it reminded me of a school, so there you go! I die cut the leaves from a Lawn Fawn "Stitched Leaves" set using paper I had in my craft room. The light colored circle was cut from Simon Says Stamp "Stitched Circles" and I added a black circle behind it for a border. The whole thing is popped up using fun foam. The little school house is from a Taylored Expressions Die and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn "Sophie's Sentiments" set.
Returning to School II

I created this card with my teacher friends in mind! I used My Favorite Things "Brick Wall Coverup" to die cut the brick design from patterned paper from Paper House "The Great Outdoors" 6 x 6 pad. The mouse is from My Favorite Things "Harvest Mouse" which was colored using alcohol markers. I used two other die sets for the apples which were then colored green. For my sentiment I used a combination of Simon Says Stamp "Wishing" and Lawn Fawn "A Good Apple" stamp sets. For dimension I used fun foam on the back of the apple, the mouse, and the sentiment. I hope you have a great September, my friends!

I created this A2 card as a tribute to my teacher friends who are returning to school! The girl is from My Favorite Things "It's a Sign" stamp set which I colored with alcohol markers and added three dimensional hearts to the sign. The pattern paper is from the new My Favorite Things "Fresh Squeezed Chevron" 6 x 6 paper pack. I created a border by stamping the ruler from Lawn Fawn "A Good Apple" stamp set. The sentiment on vellum is from My Favorite Things "Pearls of Wisdom."

Barrel of Flowers
SSS wednesdaychallenge
I colored this barrel of flowers back in the spring and really liked how pretty it turned out. I held onto it for a while and ended up using it on a card for my sister's birthday! I had stamped the flowers from several different stamp sets and colored them with alcohol markers from Copic and Spectrum Noir. The barrel is from a Gina K. Designs stamp set which I love! It's colored with alcohol markers as well. The little butterfly is probably a Sixxix although I should go look to make sure, Ha Ha. The border around the panel is a Spellbinder die and I added some green ribbon.

Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Trio of Color - Butterfly card
SSS Challenge Trio of Color
I used a lot of different products to make this card, but that's what I usually do! The butterfly is from Stampin' Up's Watercolor Wings stamp set and an older die cut for the vellum overlay. The yellow paper on left is embossed with Darice's flower design. The scalloped circles are a Spellbinder's Nestablility die. The flowered paper I made using Clearly Besotted "Leafy Accents," Kaisercraft "Lilac Avenue," and Hero Arts "Love Jar" stamp sets. The greeting is from Spellbinder's "Just the Right Word" set. Inks include SSS Green Apple, MFT Grape Jelly, Colorbox Canary, Ranger Jet Black. The ribbon was from my ribbon drawer.
