Merry Christmas

Hi everyone, I have another card for the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #304.. The sketch is shown below. I decided to make a Christmas card with MFT "Sending You a Little Christmas" - water colored with Zig Clear Color Real Brush Markers and mounted on some MFT Fresh Squeezed Chevron Patterned Paper. Isn't this little girl so sweet with her mini tree?

For the snow, I used the Molotow masking pen  - dotted it on the paper, water colored the back ground, then removed the masking fluid. It worked great! For the snow on top of the image, I used tiny drops of  Imagine Craft's Irresistible "Wedding Dress"texture spray.

Hello Fall

I'm loving the cards I see all over the internet with fall leaves. I decided to use some of my leaf stamps and the Hero Arts Autumn Ombre' Ink to create this background. Then, I chose one of the MFT Pure Innocence for the focal point.

Here's my card for this week's My Favorite Things Weekly Sketch Challenge #304.

I sent this one to my sister knowing she is raking lots of leaves in her yard right about now! Thanks for checking out my card.

Happy Birthday

"Scented Garden" by Penny Black was one of the first stamps I ever bought.
I loved it then and I still love it. I used copic markers to color the image this time
and a vertical sentiment from Verses. Here is the completed card, which I am entering into the

Thinking of You

Hi Bloggers, I wanted to create another card for the Essentials by Ellen Pin Sights Challenge for October because I love the colors of Autumn right now. So here's my card using Bohemian Garden and the sentiment from Mondo Hydrangea. I'm also entering this card in SSSWednesday Challenge.

The panel is made with water color paper  on which I added several colors from my Peerless Water Colors. The flowers were created with Distress Inks and Toffee Versafine Ink.

Feeling Down

Simon Says Stamp's weekly challenge for Wednesday is ANYTHING GOES. So here's my card.
Feeling Down? Isn't this the cutest! I decided to make a few of these with slight variations in colors and patterned papers. The birdies stamp and sentiment are from Great Impressions; the image was colored with copic markers directly on the card panel. I added one flower from My Favorite Things Flashy Florals which was stamped and die cut, then popped up with dimensional tape. The leaves are from a Margaret Stewart punch, and the patterned paper came from my collection. Do you like one better than the others? Thanks for reading my blog today!

Water Color Tree

I wanted to try my hand at water coloring the Art Impression way. Art Impression is a stamp company who makes lots of stamp images which can be used for water color scenes. I don't have an Art Impression tree, so I used one from Stampin' Up and then stamped all the leaves and water colored them using several fall colors. The sentiment is from Sugar Pea Design. The dove is from an old stamp sent whose name I have forgotten! I mounted the water color panel on orange first, then on gray with rounded corners to create this fall card. Thanks for viewing my blog today!
I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Autumn."

Fun Fall card

Today I have a fun card to post using a new die set from Lawn Fawn. It's the vertical tree/frame. I decided to make it green rather than brown and then die cut the leaves with different solids and patterned papers to reflect fall colors. The sentiment is from Sugar Pea Designs and the little owl is from Purple Onion Design. I colored him with copic markers and popped him up on the polka dot hill! The card base is ivory.
I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "AUTUMN!"
