Special Birthday

Special Birthday card - here's an adorable birthday card for my friend's granddaughter (a teen.)
The Simon Says Stamp "Work Out" image was perfect for the card, colored with copic markers.
As I said in a recent post, I am still learning how to color with copics,
and this was my first attempt at "eyes." I was happy with the results.
I am still learning how to color skin tones!

Cards from the Heart Card Drive 2016

For the past few weeks I have been making cards for a special drive - Cards from the Heart.  Winter Sims from Winter Wonderland Designs has been spear heading this drive. Cards are collected and then distributed to children for Valentine's Day at various hospitals and orphanages around the country. This is the first time I participated, and I am so glad I did. I only made 15 cards for the drive, but I'm sure the drive will appreciate every card they get. Below is a picture of all of the cards I made for the drive. Thanks for reading my post....

Hugs, Kisses, Be Mine

More Valentine Cards - why not! I used another Reverse Confetti Quick Card Panel it's got all the hearts on it) layered with some red card stock on a pink card from the Hero Arts January Card Kit. The black die cut heart and arrow are from Simon Says Stamp (I LOVE THEM.) And, four of the hearts are stamped with words from the Hero Arts Kit... hugs, kisses, be, mine ... of course!

Happy Day

Here's another quick card panel from Reverse Confetti - plus the die from Simon Says Stamp "Scribbled Heart and Arrow" which I  just LOVE!! The card and envelope are from Hero Arts January Card Kit, and the arrows around the card are from Simon Says Stamp Talk Bubbles 2. I stamped them with versa mark around the card and embossed them with white embossing powder. I love how this card turned out even though it's pretty simple!
