Another fall inspired card which I sent to my sisters just to say hello and happy fall. I do not see them because they don't live near by so I like to send cards every once in a while. This one started with a water color background. I added the Lawn Fawn "Leafy Tree Background," Poppy Stamps "Large Garden Cart," Memory Box "Pinpoint Pumpkins." After inking up the pumpkins, I added Distress Crackle Paint in clear rock candy which gives them a bumpy dimension. I am entering this in the Tic Tac Toe Saturday Challenge #85. I used the left column: pumpkins, orange, and fall.
Welcome to my blog. Ten years ago I discovered that making cards was super fun. I keep learning as I watched many expert crafters and artists on the internet. Thanks for stopping by.

Have a Mice Holiday!
Holiday Snowflake Cards
Worked on a few more Holiday Cards. These two are very similar. For one I used silver paper behind the Circle Snowflake Die from Paper Rose with white embossing, and the other I used white paper with silver embossing. When I was designing the card, I just couldn't decide which one would look better so I made both of them! The background is Hero Arts Red Rubber Cling snowflakes, one in white and one in silver embossing powder. The two sentiments are from Inkadinkado and Penny Black. For the inside of these cards, I dry embossed the panel with a snowflake folder and added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. I am entering one of these cards in the SSS Wednesday Challenge "Make it Sparkle" and the Penny Black Saturday Challenge for October, "Anything Goes or Too Cute to Spook." I'm also going to add this to Jenn Shurkus's "Get Cracking On Christmas" challenge.
Trick or Treat Slim Line
OMG, I am taking a break from catching Spotted Lantern Flies on my poor maple trees to post a few cards I made recently. YES, we are infested here in South Jersey with these bugs which have no natural enemies in the USA.
The first card I am posted is for my youngest grandchild for Halloween. I made two of these very similar, but only got a shot of one before I put them in their envelopes to go into the mail. I used Trinity Slim Line Dies for this card and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the Dry Embossed pattern on the panel. The three openings have die cuts from Impression Obsession, Paper Smooches, Lawn Fawn, Poppy Stamps. The pumpkin has Tim Holtz Distress Crackle, Clear Rock Candy, on top for dimension. I kept my paper bright colors for my 3 year old grandson! Entering this is the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #85 going down the left side with Pumkins Orange and Fall. Also entering it in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Dry Embossing." One more entry - My Favorite Things Color Challenge #150.

Best Wishes
This card was a request from a friend for a wedding card and it gave me a chance to use the We Are Memory Keepers "Hearts" Embossing folder which makes a deep impression in the card stock. Before dry embossing I stamped with Rubber Necker "First Kiss" and Impression Obsession "Wishes" for the sentiment. I am putting this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Dry Embossing."

Your New Home
Another fall card for today which I will enter on My Favorite Things Color Challenge #150. I am loving these colors and the use of leaves and pumpkins. Supplies - Distress Inks, Sugar Pea "Cabin & Tree" die, small stamps from Gina K, and Impression Obsession "No Place Like Home" for the sentiment. This card is for a friend who has recently moved. I think she will like it. I will also enter it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Thankful for Your Friendship
I have a new card for the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #84 today. Now that I look at it fresh this morning, it looks a little too busy!! LOL I opted for the patterned paper background which may have been a bit overkill! The MFT "Lots of Leaves Cover Up" was colored with distress inks and some brown splatter. Inside the frame is Sugar Pea's little squirrel holding an acorn and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. The small sentiment strip is one of SSS pre-printed sets. Also entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes."
