Happy New Year

Hi friends! I made three New Year's cards so far, each similar but different! Take a look:

All three have "2016" stamped from Inkadinkado, two in Delicata Golden Glitz (LOVE IT) and one with Versafine Black Onyx. The cocktail/wine glasses and "cheers" greeting are from Simon Says Stamp. The "happy new year" sentiment is from Hero Arts. Oh, the scallop die is new from Lawn Fawn! The backgrounds are all different. The first pink card has water color paper with brusho added then Heidi Swapp glitter spray added; the white card has a second layer edged with Delicata Golden Glitz; and the other pick card - are you ready for this  - is nail polish!!! Yes, nail polish in several colors. I saw a video on utube showing how to coat card stock with nail polish and draw a design on it with a pin. Amazing, right? Which is your favorite?

Good Luck

Hi crafty friends! It's a new year. I'm excited to be making non-Christmas cards! LOL
Hence this GOOD LUCK card!
My niece bought some property with an old farmhouse
and a couple of "out" buildings a few months ago.
She and her hubby were so excited because it will allow them
to get out of the city during weekends and relax away from the hustle of city life.

Lucky for me this card fits perfectly with the new Simon Says Stamp
Wednesday Challenge SOMETHING NEW

and Monday Challenge SOMETHING NEW

This card has a water color base which I made with brusho. I thought it worked well because the colors resembled a sky. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up. I used copic markers to color the house, cut it out, and adhere it to the card slipping the bottom under the grass. I stamped the trees right on the base (from the same stamp set.) I'll check where the sentiment came from and add it here - as I have forgotten at the moment! LOL

Love Letters Kit / Brutus Monroe

The first Brutus Monroe kit "LOVE LETTERS" arrived a few days ago.
Normally, I'm not a "kit" type of person, but after watching Christopher Alan
on periscope for months, I had to order his first kit!
I like the supplies in it! Here are three little note cards using the kit.
The "love" die is from Lawn Fawn and the ivory card base was from my own stash.
Everything else is from Brutus Monroe!

Birthday (MFT)

Here's a  birthday card I am sending out tomorrow!
I used several products from MY FAVORITE THINGS:
Season's Tweetings stamp set (colored with copic markers,)
a piece of the new 6 x 6 plaid paper,
Prairie Fence die (on paper I had stamped with wood design.)

First Scrap Book!

Well, I've been taking a break from posting during the busy holiday, but I was still playing in the craft room! One thing I have been wanting to do is a scrap book. I know most of the crafters I follow have been doing them for years, but it's new to me! I started with two pages for Christmas. Here's how they turned out....

The empty space (top right) is for my journaling which I didn't do yet. This page will go on the left side of the open scrap book. The layout includes pattered paper, stickets, wood embellishments, a little stamping, and some red candy striped paper which I created on white card stock!

This page will go on the right side of the open scrap book. So these two pages go together. Yea, I know I am a little bit traditional with my colors and layout. But, that's me! OH, I accidentally moved that one picture (bottom left.) This picture was taken right before I glued everything. Actually, I added a few sequins to both pages, but you get the idea.
