Season's Greetings
One design I really enjoy is creating a background and then making matching die cuts to give my cards dimension. Today's card is a perfect example. This project uses Mistletoe & Holly by Julie Ebersole for Essentials by Ellen (Ellen Hutson.) It's an older set, but one I really like. I added some ribbon from my stash and a embossed sentiment from Lawn Fawn. There's a pic of the inside of the card, too. I am placing this on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Best Wishes
If you are watching craft videos, you have seen Gina Krupnik ink blend and then stamp on top. That's exactly what I did on this Best Wishes card. I am entering this in Gina K Design December Monthly Mix Challenge. The stamp set is Wild Blossoms from Gina K Design.
Ho Ho Ho
Happy Birthday
One more card for the My Favorite Things challenges this week - Sketch Challenge and Color Challenge. I created this gender neutral Birthday card with Happy Birthday script die in shiny black card on top of a red panel stamped with the red rubber "Happy Birthday" stamp with white pigment ink and added three balloons to match the colors for this challenge, see below.
Perk Up Soon
Been busy with lots of Tim Holtz products, so thought I would try some MFT stamps and dies and enter them in MFT Sketch Challenge and Color Challenge. I needed more FEEL BETTER cards, so I created this 4 bar card with "Steeped in Love" and paper from "Party Patterns." Check out the sketch and colors below.

Greetings
Using the November Cozy Wishes card kit, here's a creation which I was super happy with. I used some dies in my stash from Tim Holtz for the greenery and little houses from Penny Black. Posting this on SSS Wednesday Challenge and their Instagram Dec Challenge.
Winter Wishes
Holiday card time! Here's one which was inspired by Tiffany Solorio after watching her video. She used an embossing folder and then added ink to the raised areas. I am entering this in the SSS Instagram Challenge and also on the SSS Wednesday Challenge "Winter Wishes." The embossing folder is from SSS and the patterned paper is from Memory Box. Their plaids have gold stripes, which I love!

Sunflowers & Plaid
I don't try to make plaid backgrounds very often. I find them tedious. But I wanted to experiment with a plaid for these big flowers so I used some yellows and browns. It's not my favorite plaid, but it works for this card. This is one more card for the Simon Says Stamp Make Your Own Background Challenge.
LOVE
I made this card for a wedding. The background was created with several layers of distress ink and two different stencils. The sentiment is an old one from Reverse Confetti and the stamp of the couple is from Rubbernecker. Entering this on the SSS Wednesday Challenge, Backgrounds.
Hello
Another card for the SSS Wednesday Challenge. This background was made with an embossing folder from Cuttlebug and homemade patterned paper using Concord &9th Triangle Turnabout. The Hello is from Pink and Main and the sentiment strip is from SSS. I really like these colors together!
Hello
The new Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Make Your Own Background! I do this with almost all my cards nowadays. Here is one which was inspired by Jennifer McGuire who did a double inking technique with stencils to complete two backgrounds. I added a few die cuts (which matched the flowers on the stencil) on top and a sentiment.
Fall
For this month's My Favorite Things Slimline challenge, the idea is to play with mini slimline without worrying about a theme. So here' s a cute card I made for Fall. Might use it for Thanksgiving, but not sure.
Going to put it on the MFT Mini Slimline Challenge for November. I am also entering this in the SSS Wed. Challenge Make Your Own Background. Products used - SSS Leaves Wreath stencil, Altenew Sketched Lines stencil, Pinkfresh Mini Slimline envelope dies, Sentiment is from MFT Autumn Blessing and Harvest Mouse.
