One more tag for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Tag It" before the deadline. The background of this tag was an experiment using a stencil and some embossing paste. I should use this technique more because it's fun and I like the results!
Welcome to my blog. Ten years ago I discovered that making cards was super fun. I keep learning as I watched many expert crafters and artists on the internet. Thanks for stopping by.

Full of Surprises
Today's card is for My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #479. Check out the sketch below. I need to draw something under the bird - maybe a small branch or swirling air currents because obviously he looks odd now that I am viewing this card today!! I can also enter it in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Something Feminine."
Love Tag
Another tag for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Tag It." I decided to use some of the scraps and left over items in the many nooks and crannies in my craft room. Good way to de-clutter!

Happy Birthday
I loved the colors which were part of My Favorite Things Color Challenge 136 the past few weeks, and they have been on my crafty table for that long. (Check them out below.) Looking at them again today, it was clear they would work perfectly for some flowers and leaves. This is the end result. Using Beautiful Blooms Stamp, I created the patterned paper and then added the Happy Birthday die on top in Peach Bellini. I am also entering this card on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Something Feminine.
Rainbows & Hearts
Here's another birthday card for a little girl using a stamp I purchased recently from
My Favorite Things. The images are colored with copic markers. The hearts were cut out of paper
I had previously "designed" using various paints and the Gelli plate.
This is perfect for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Something Feminine."
Thankful Tag
After a break I am back with a quick project. This is for the Simon Says Stamp
This tag has a little bit of everything, stamping, coloring, die cuts leaves, and stamped sentiment.
