It's for Simon Says Stamp Mon Challenge "All Loved Up" and the Wed Challenge "Anything Goes!"
Welcome to my blog. Ten years ago I discovered that making cards was super fun. I keep learning as I watched many expert crafters and artists on the internet. Thanks for stopping by.

Bear Hugs
One more Valentine's Card for my friend. This one was quick because of the patterned card stock. I had gotten the cute Panda as a free gift when I went to an Art Impression both at a exhibition one time and I like the pun sentiments, so I paired them together for this cute card.

I Woof You!
Continuing with my Valentine Cards for my friend to give to her grandchildren, I finished another one with some cute puppies from My Favorite Things and a tree die from Simon Says Stamp. The "I Woof You" heart is from a Reverse Confetti set with dogs, but I wanted to try coloring these dogs from SSS since it is a new set which I just bought over the holidays.
I am placing this card in two Challenges - the SSS Monday Challenge "All Loved Up" and SSS Wednesday "Anything Goes."I think a young boy or girl will like this card!
Thank You to the Hard Working Press
While working on ideas for a Rally in south Jersey (political) to show unity in our community and a celebration of diversity, my friend came up with the idea of THANKING the MEDIA/REPORTERS who are bringing the news to us daily. Their job has been made more difficult, we feel, by the politicians who are spewing hatred and false claims of "fake news!"
So I got busy making thank you cards for the "PRESS" which were handed out for people to sign and give to reporters who attended the Rally on Tues, Jan. 18th. I was lucky to have some pattered paper and stamps in my stash which worked very well for these cards. I made a total of 14 cards, using 4 designs which you'll see below.

Tons of Fun
I am in full Valentine mode so here's another card project for the upcoming sweet holiday. Not going to list all the supplies, but the copic colored elephant is from MFT as well as the grassy hill with the cut out portion (which I just bought last week!) I have been using my stencils for clouds and grass on lots of cards lately. Most of us used to do this by hand, but the stencils make it so much easier and faster!
Below are pictures of the inside of the card and a close up of the front. Most of my little flower dies are from Taylored Expressions or Impression Obsession. I wanted to balance out the trees so I added them to the left side of the meadow.
This card is from the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge All Loved UP and the SSS Wednesday Challenge Anything Goes.

Valentine's Day
Here's another Valentine's Card I made for my friend who wants them for her grandchildren. This one is for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "All Loved Up." The primary stamp set used for this card is an older set from W Plus9 and a strip of patterned paper with little butterflies. I have always loved this stamp set's little critters and the wooden stump. It has been a while since I used my copic markers, but I think the bear turned out okay.
Hoping You Perk Up Soon
One more card for the My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 473 since I am short on "Get Well" cards. This one uses a familiar little girl from MFT and a cup of tea with a cute pun for the sentiment. The panel made from patterned paper was cut with a die from Spellbinders called Hemstitch Rectangles for some added detail. That's it for today!
Special Delivery
I finally have a few minutes to post a card project I made for the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 473. It's a Valentine's Day Card for a granddaughter which follows the sketch for this week. The image is colored with copic markers and I used some patterned paper and dies from MFT DieNamics. I am also submitting this to the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "All Loved Up." I am making Valentine's Cards for a friend who asked me for 5 or 6 for her grandchildren. Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Noel
I'm back after a bit of a break due to the flu! The card below is a simple, monochromatic Holiday card. My plan is to make holiday cards throughout the year for 2020! I used one of the MFT "Sophistocated Snowflakes" and the "Wreath Builder" by Gina K Designs, along with several colors of MFT aqua inks. This project fits two online challenges whose sketches you can see below. For the ABC Christmas Challenge, I chose Option B (layers, Christmas Sentiment, glitter.) The My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #473 is shown below, too.

Love
I have one more card project for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Fun with Florals." This card could be for a birthday or for Valentines Day. I like cards which are versatile just in case I need one or the other! The background stamp is new for me - from Impression Obsession. The flowers are from one of the Beautiful Flowers sets from Simon Says Stamp. This "LOVE" die is from Reverse Confetti. I have several but this one is a bit more elegant rather than whimsy so I thought it went better with this card. I think I have the floral bug...

Thinking of You
Some times I just like to color so I stamp images and keep them in a box in my craft room. If I have extra time or just want to color for fun, I go through the images and select one. Usually the medium I go to first is copic markers, but I also keep a separate pile of images on water color paper. The card project below started off as one of these images which I colored for fun and made into a "Thinking of You" card. I'm posting this one in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Fun With Florals.
Scalloped Thanks
Today's card uses the same Penny Black stamp as I used the other day, but I flipped the stamp to a horizontal position and used copic markers instead of water colors. I made it into a Thank You card with a die from Simon Says Stamp called "Thanks Scallop Border." This is being entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Fun With Florals.

With Sympathy
Here's another Sympathy card for my stash made with an older stamp from Gina K Designs and a basket stamp from Great Impressions (colored with copic markers.) Entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Fun With Florals.
Thinking of You
Hi Crafters,
I took a few days off, but I am back with some floral cards now that the holidays are behind us. Here is a stamp by Penny Black I water colored with Zig Real Clean Brush Markers. It's for the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Fun with Florals.

2020 Best Wishes
Happy New Year - I wanted to send a NY card to someone who didn't get a holiday card so I decided to follow the Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things, which is shown below. I had some paper which I had "made" with a Gelli Press a while ago that was perfect - clock images. I used some dies in my stash to add details and embellished them with Glossy Accents. So, this is my card project for Wednesday Sketch Challenge #470 and Simon Says Stamp Wed Challenge "Something New."
Happy Birthday
Hello again,
I like to challenge myself to create a card which combines two of the My Favorite Things Challenges at the same time. Sometimes I am successful. Today is one of those times! Here is a card project which meets both criteria as pictured below, so I am entering this card in both challenges, the Wednesday Sketch #470 and the Color Challenge #132. I will use it for a male birthday card.
This enlarged photo shows more of the details. I used a new MFT background stamp with typewriter text on the gray card panel. The argyle design is from a MFT stamp set which I have had for a few years but I think it's great for masculine cards. I placed red card stock beneath the die cut letters so it would add dimension and popped these panels up on the card base. The red heart just ties in the color and softens the sharp design a little bit.
I just realized that I could enter this card project in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday "Something New" Challenge because the typewriter stamp is a new one for me!

Hello Baby
Thought I should make a few "new baby" cards because my stash was very low. I did some copic coloring of one of my favorite images for babies from this older Simon Says Stamp "Baby" set, added a few more details and finished off the envelope with baby steps. I'm entering this card in the SSS Wednesday Challenge "Something New!"
Happy Birthday
Birthdays are one reason to have a party! This card was made to celebrate a fun birthday in pinks and purples. Plus, the design emphasizes circles and arrow shapes throughout the front of the card with both the choice in patterned paper, cover plate, and die cuts for the focal point. This card is for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Party Time!" Thanks for visiting my blog.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs
Happy New Year 2020!
Simon Says Stamp is starting off the new year with a challenge reflecting new things of course, like new products, new beginnings, new babies, the new year. So here's my first post for 2020 - a wedding card with lots of glitter and gold for the Wednesday Challenge "Something New!"

I am still reflecting on resolutions for 2020 which I hope all of you do because self reflection is so important as a learning tool (in my opinion.) But, one resolution I have made regarding my paper crafting hobby is this: I have decided NOT to list all of the products I use to make a single card. There are a few reasons for this decision, but mostly people either don't care about the products
or (if they are paper crafters themselves) they are familiar with the products anyway :)
So enjoy the pics of the cards without the boring details!
