Hello again, friends. I wanted to try a new stamp set I bought recently called "Piece of Cake." Here's the card I put together using the current My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #313. I added the little brown "paper clip" in place of another piece of card stock for some variety! I love the aqua and brown together and feel this card could work for a masculine birthday as well as a female! Thanks for visiting my blog today.
Welcome to my blog. Ten years ago I discovered that making cards was super fun. I keep learning as I watched many expert crafters and artists on the internet. Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate!
This is a Rubbernecker stamp, water colored for any kind of celebration you like! I bought this stamp a while back and experimented with mixing some water colors together for the first step. The second step adds the black outline and stem.
I am entering this card in the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge "Party Time!"

Happy Cake Day
Today I have a birthday card for my stash featuring the My Favorite Things "Celebrate With Cake" stamp set to fit the current Sketch Challenge #313. The photo is a little hard to see, but you can just about make out the light pink cakes in the back ground which pick up on the shades of pink in the abstract rectangle made with "smooshed" distress inks. I think I will add a few sequins before I send it off! If you want to read the Challenge rules or see the other entries, just click on the link!
I am also going to enter this card project in the

Bright Wishes
Today I have a cute Christmas card using a Penny Black stamp which I love - these three caroling mice during a snowy night! They are water colored and double mounted with some patterned paper. I am entering this card in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge "Winter or Christmas"

Big Hugs
Hi Bloggers. I have a 2nd card to celebrate the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Party Time. It's a shaker card which I intend to give to my granddaughter. The fairies are stamped and colored with copic markers as are the stars and hearts in the middle floating up from the big sparkle star with holds the sprinkles! The patterned paper around the edges has stars in several colors framing the scene.
This week on the Wednesday Challenge for Simon Says Stamp it's ANYTHING GOES, so I'll enter the card there as well!

Happy New Year
For Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge the theme is PARTY TIME! So of course New Year's Eve is the first part of the year! Here's my card to celebrate!
The water color paper was sprinkled with
Brusho in several colors for the background. Then, I used a stencil from MFT for the
fireworks (white embossing powder with versa mark ink.) I also used the white embossing powder for the sentiment. The champagne
glasses were lightly colored with some Wink
of Stella Silver Glitter Pen, cut out and adhered with pop up dots to the card.

Scripty Merry Christmas
Hello bloggers and crafters. As I said in my last post I did not publish all of my holiday cards this year, but here is one which is sparkly and fits nicely into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge SPARKLE!
I used a bunch of different products for this card including Altenew's Poinsettia stamp, water colored after embossed with black powder, cut out and adhered to some patterned paper. I added a red frame around the image and a strip of vellum across the bottom for the embossed sentitment from Lawn Fawn. The flower and leaves are covered with Wink of Stella for a shimmer which is hard to see in the photo. Thanks for checking out my card today.
Sparkly cards
Hopefully you had a great holiday. I was very successful with my card efforts this year, managing to send 100 cards to the Caring Hearts Card Drive (for elderly folks in nursing homes) and another 35 cards to sailors on US ships for the holidays. Of course that was in addition to the ones I made for myself. I did not post all of them this year, but here is one which is sparkly and fit nicely into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge SPARKLE!
I used a bunch of different products for this card including Lawn Fawn's Snowflake die and silver glitter paper around the snowflake cut with a scalloped die. Thanks for checking out my card today.
Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays Blog Land!! It's been ages since I posted any thing on the blog. I'm sure you were just as busy as I was and probably didn't even notice LOL. Here's a card, finally, for the Essentials by Ellens Classroom Pin Sights Challenge. Check out the inspiration to the right. It's screams Christmas! I love poinsettias so I focused on that image and used some water colors to create my focal point on this card. Then a little white on white for the mounting and gold embossing for accent. The outer rectangle is dry embossed with snowflakes (but very hard to see in the photo.) Thanks for stopping by.
